Shawn: Monica Potter Season

Halloween is right around the corner and it's a great time to see a couple of great horror films! Films that are scarier than Viva Laughlin's singing. First one I can recommend is the original "Saw" from 2004.

Yes, it's frightening and has a great surprise ending. But can we not forget about the snubbed performance of Monica Potter? She played the role of Cary Elwes' concerned wife. After a great stint on Boston Legal (which is going to TV Land in 2010) she came to do this movie and become a scream queen in my mind.

Next movie I must recommend is "The Last House on the Left" from 2009. Monica Potter has second billing in the movie. Who cares if it's scary, Monica Potter is in it! You gotta see it. Below is an interview! Also in Monica Potter News, keeps an eye for her in NBC's "Parenthood." She's amazing!
