Monkeys and Tigers and Bombs, Oh My

The thought of big cities being hit by 9/11-style attacks in the not-so-distant future brings with it a sense of fear that could be pants-shittingly off the charts. With that in mind, I'm providing a cute and fuzzy alternative to the thought of looking out the window of your apartment to see a mushroom cloud eating the horizon.

A monkey with a white tiger.

It has an aww-factor all it's own, doesn't it?

When hurricane Hannah separated two white tigers from their mother, Anjana the chimp became surrogate mama and playmate to the cubs. This chimp even helped bottle feed them. And the craziest thing about this story is that this chimp has been trained to help raise leopard and lion cubs all the time. Brilliant. So Anjana can help Red Cross pull us all out of the wreckage after our cities are blown the hell up. Whoo!

  2. Completely plausible! She wins our trust and then come the exploding shoes.
