Sure it wasn't always laugh out loud, rolling in the aisles funny like I find Family Guy and American Dad to consistently be, but it was definitely an example of what I would call the thinking person's comedy. The subtle jabs at Hollywood. People's desperation to be famous. The state of our culture in a time where reality tv runs rampant. Plus it has Lisa Kudrow, who I just find to be a scream time after time.
I defy you to find the following not the least bit humorous. Unless you really hate disco (or maybe love, as it gets slaughtered here) or Lisa Kudrow. Then you may not want to subject yourselves to it. All I know is every time I'm having a God-awful day I can watch this clip and have a chuckle. To quote Ms. Cherish, "it's just so good!"

I can't BELIEVE you posted on this. I had a HUGE discussion with colleagues last night about this very show, and how amazing it is.
ReplyDeleteDo you watch Summer Heights High? Because you should.
