Last night I discovered a perfect GET PUMPED song for today. Which we NEED.We're all anxious. Nervous. Fearful. Hopeful.
It reminds me of how I felt on Christmas Eve as a kid, lying awake in bed and wondering what would be lying under the tree for me when I woke up (assuming I ever fell asleep).
Granted, this situation is sort of like that, except I'm not sure if there will be great presents under the tree, or my house will randomly burst into flames, toasting and melting me and all of my family members.
But enough negativity! We've worked hard. We've donated money. Time. Blog posts. Facebook statuses. Today we vote, and Change comes or it does not.
Anyway, listen to this song. And when you hear "W-I-L-D Wildcats!" Just imagine them actually cheering "O-B-A-M-A Barack!"
With that one change, this is the ULTIMATE election day tune.
Damn HSM and their catchy songs centered around basketball! I didn't even see any of the movies, and I'm just getting over "Get'cha Head in the Game". The original mix, not that crap B5 did.
